About Scott

Hutcheson5_2Scott Hutcheson is a husband of one, a father of two, and a friend of many. He also happens to be good cook and an even better communicator. He writes about food for newspapers, magazines, television, and on-line media. His television work has received two Emmy nominations and on Sunday, July 12, 2009 Scott will be auditioning for Season 6 of The Next Food Network Star. If you are interested in following him during the audition process he'll be both Tweeting and Facebooking his way through the experience.

Scott is also a economic and community development strategist working nationally, regionally, and with local communities to move toward more a more sustainable future. Food is often an important focus of that work.
