Potlucks are Illegal in Indiana!
According to an article in the Indianapolis Star, a state law passed in 2001 makes church pitch-ins, and other such community meals, illegal. I can just see the paddy wagon loaded up with 70 year-old Presbyterian women.
Look for this Hungry Hoosier Seal of Approval at Indiana restaurants and other food-related businesses
I can just see the overcrowded jails now. They are full of little purple haired grannies -- all guilty of being excellent cooks. :)
