Twelve Islands Restaurant

Hpim0765Today I was in Crown Point, Indiana and stopped for lunch at the Twelve Islands Restaurant. This is a family-run place on Crown Point's square features Greek and American cuisine. The service is no-nonsense and the food was hearty. I had a cup of lemon chicken soup - thick and rich and a Athenian Burger topped with feta cheese and slightly sauteed tomatoes, green peppers, and onions. I really enjoyed the burger. I don't think I've ever seen one quite like it.

They serve breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Prices are very reasonable. Give it a try if you are in Crown Point.

Hi,
Just wanted to say yes it is a wonderful place to eat, but you missed the best place by far and that was Tifany's Tearoom on the west side of the square. I think it would be worth a trip back some day soon. You must try their Crepes or Chicken Salads and the Quiche is to die for .
