Good Breeding
This month's Indianapolis Monthly features a spotlight (written by your's truly) on the Kobe beef served at the Joseph Decuis Restaurant and raised at the Joseph Decuis Heritage Farm, both in Roanoke, Indiana. The magazine is available on newsstands and at grocery-store checkout counters all over Central Indiana. Pick up a copy today. Beginning in March 2008 each issue of Indianapolis Monthly will feature a Hungry Hoosier column profiling an Indiana farmer or producer and a recipe featuring local foods. In the March issue look for Irish Stew just in time for St. Patrick's Day. The recipe will use locally-raised grass-fed beef and a locally-microbrewed stout. Yum!
