Research & Scholarship

Scott's main area of research is related to economic and community development strategy - how people work together to design the future and then take steps to reach it. His dissertation research focused on what makes strategies effective. He frequently publishes in scholarly journals and speaks at academic conferences, adding to the knowledge base of economic development, community development, public policy and adminstration, and other related disciplines.
